about dr. schlansker
After
two years as an itinerant dentist in the bush of Alaska with the United
States Public Health Service, I chose Anchorage as the location I wished
to live. I started my general dentistry practice here in 1981. For
the past five years dental sleep medicine has become an exciting new focus
in my practice. After studying the role of dentistry in sleep medicine,
the education and treatment of patients with obstructive sleep apnea and
snoring has become a definitive part of the care of my patients. I
gain a great deal of personal satisfaction finding that I can help change
a persons life overnight; allowing restorative sleep, increased energy,
preserving sleep with a bed partner, and the potential to arrest the decline
of health found in people with Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea. I
team with physicians and sleep clinics to provide the most appropriate
and expeditious treatment available.
